Round #1 Wrap-Up!

Toorak Park was in fine form for its first game day and we thank everyone for sharing photos to celebrate and showcase PJFC out and about for round 1. We will set up a way to share pics going forward, so will share more details soon.

Regardless of the results, we hope all kids enjoyed getting back in the game.

Remember that the SMJFL will review all divisions after round 4 and there will be movement of some teams to ensure kids are playing in divisions with similar levels of ability.

 Friday Night

It was wonderful to see so many of our community back for the first team training session on Friday. It was a busy night with all hands on deck to circulate merch and kit, and we were very grateful to all the volunteers who chipped in to support.

The Friday night raffle will be back this week with a stellar line up.

  • 2 x $150 Peter Bouchier vouchers

  • 1 x slab of Stomping Ground Brewery’s finest

  • PJFC merch

Mouth guards are also still waiting to be picked up.

Lost Property has already started with some fancy new looking boots, trainers and school sport shorts left behind. This will be in the ground floor room at TP if you are missing anything.

Housekeeping

There is some housekeeping we do need to remind everyone of, which will ensure we are looking after our beautiful new ground and pavilion.

  • No boots in pavilion - so remember to pack the kids birks or crocs to change into.

  • No food and drink on the oval, especially glass!

  • Our licence is for the bar only, so please keep alcohol in this area.

  • Please ask kids to stay off the ground covers if in place (they are not cheap to replace if damaged).

 Friday Night Training Locations

To ensure kids get access to Toorak Park, we will be operating training on a rotation system. Below are the first allocations.

Merch Update

Whilst the training tops and merch is not far away, game day shorts and socks will be available for purchase on Friday night in the ground level of the TP pavilion.

If you have received an order notification, your order will also be available for pick up.

Whilst supplier delays have not been ideal, we thank everyone for their patience. A big thank you also to the volunteers who have helped get everything sorted for pick up!

First Aid

We will be offering first aid training at Toorak Park for anyone who needs their annual CPR refresher or full first aid training. PJFC will cover the cost.

  • Dates: Tuesday 6th May & Thursday 8th May

  • Times: 6 - 9pm (we will start with CPR refresher (45mins) and follow with the remainder of the general first aid)

  • Location: Toorak Park - Multi purpose room ground floor

  • Topics: First Aid general & CPR (for those needing an annual refresher)
