Registrations OPEN Monday 12 January 2026 

• 12 to 31 Jan  – Returning players are given priority of registrations up until this date.
• Feb 1 - Registrations open to transfers from other clubs.

2026 REGISTRATION FEES

Registration is $405, of which $345 will go to PJFC for football program administration and $60 will be paid to the league.  The Club’s fees are the same as it was for 2024 & 2025.

PJFC has a program to support players who may find meeting the costs of registration and participation difficult. If you would like a confidential discussion about support available to you, please reach out to our Registrar, Peter Cotter, registrar@prahranjfc.com.au

PJFC Code of Conduct: Parents and Players should note the PJFC Code of Conduct which must be read by all parents and players prior to registration at PJFC.  We take our development of players seriously, and parents and players must be aware of the expectations with regard to training, game day, and social conduct at the Club. A link to the code of conduct may be found here, and is also included within the registration process for acknowledgment by parents and players when registering.

Refunds: In the early stages of the season,  in most cases we are able to provide a full or partial refund of the PJFC registration fee, less any administrative charges. Players who withdraw from the football program after round 3 may have their refund reduced on a pro rata basis to cover both participation and administrative costs.

If you need to change your email address associated with your PlayHQ account please reach out to 1800 PLAY AFL or email clubhelp@afl.com.au. We unfortunately do not have access to assist with this at club level.

NEW PLAYERS

New players who haven’t played previously with an AFL club will need to provide a proof of age document (eg. Birth Certificate/passport) to confirm their DOB prior to the registration being finalised. Copies of these documents can be emailed to registrar@prahranjfc.com.au

Please note: This is a league requirement: we cannot accept players into the Club without sighting proof of age documentation.

NEW PLAYER TRANSFERS (to PJFC from another club)

PJFC is always welcoming of players from other clubs who would like to join the Two Blues. Before registration, the club will need to apply for a transfer from your old club and it a process we look after for you. Please email our Registrar to begin the process registrar@prahranjfc.com.au

AGE GROUP GUIDANCE

Players wishing to register with PJFC for the 2026 season must be born between 1 January 2008 and 30 April 2019.

If your child is born after 30 April 2019, we can recommend our affiliated Auskick program here.

The below table sets out the age ranges for our mixed, boys and girls teams for 2026.

Some players wish to seek exemptions to play in an age group other than that which is set. Factors could include school year, size, or other things discussed with parents or the Football Department.

Players wishing to play in the age group below will need to be granted an exemption from the league – please contact the Registrar for further information in relation to this process - registrar@prahranjfc.com.au.
