There will be some changes to training grounds, starting this Friday. Some teams have elected to stay at Orrong, so please keep an eye out on your team Whatsapp chat for any changes for your teams.

School Holidays vs Fixtures

  • Sunday July 6 - NO GAMES

  • Sunday July 13 - NO GAMES

  • Sunday July 20 - Round 10

Merchandise

Backordered hoodies have gone to print and we expect their arrival in the next couple of weeks. The supplier delays have been frustrating, but we thank everyone for their patience.

All other uniform, including our new caps, wil be available for purchase on Friday night training, in the bar.

Scarves and beanies (yes, with pom poms) will be following behind shortly.

If any questions or exchanges are required email merchandise@prahranjfc.com.au

 Uniform and Boot Donations

To support our own circular economy, the blue donation bin will be in the bar on Friday night for anyone wanting to donate old uniforms and boots that are still in good condition.

On the flip side, donations are all looking for new homes, so we welcome families to help themselves to any donated goods. These will be displayed in a trestle table in the bar on Friday. Super handy for any growth spurts since the start of the season!

Top 3 Recovery Tips After Game Day

Brought to you by @sportsmassagebybec - Remedial Massage Therapist & Movement Trainer

Recovery doesn’t need to be complicated; it just needs to be consistent. Here are 3 simple ways to support your young footballer’s body and mind after a big game:

1. Plenty of Water

Hydration is key to flushing out waste products and helping muscles recover.

Why it works: Even mild dehydration can delay recovery and affect energy the next day.

2. Enjoy a Healthy Meal

Aim for a meal with lean protein, complex carbs, and some healthy fats.

Why it works: Nutrients help repair muscle fibres and replenish energy stores.

3. A Good Night’s Sleep

Sleep is when the body truly restores itself - aim for 8–10 hours.

Why it works: Deep sleep promotes growth hormone release, critical for recovery and performance.

Bonus Tip: Encourage screen-free wind-down time to support better sleep quality.

As part of the PJFC community, Bec offers remedial and sports massage sessions, supporting your recovery journey - 50% off all first treatments for players and parents.
